Ssd speed reduced???

when i first got my ssd 2 months ago it was a 7.9 in the WEI. but today i reinstalled windows 7 after having a few problems before. but now it says the hdd is 7.5?

why have i lost 0.4 on the WEI after formatting it?

its an OCZ agility 3 60gb

  1. Because WEI isn't reliable. If you want to know what the speed of your ssd is, run some drive benchmarks.
  2. Agility drives are using non synchronous NAND chips, which results in general lower write speeds which gets slower during usage when drives gets into steady state. Most SSD gets a bit slower during usage.
