Will 9600gt run fine on my psu?

Hello,
i am getting the 9600gt as a gift from my aunt and it's already bought. My psu is a 450w with 22 amps on 12v rail. I have dual core e5200 2.5, 1x2gb ram, g31 mobo, dvd-rw drive, 1x320gb hd, and nothing more. Will it run?

Yes, it will run, don't worry about that...

OC that CPU. It can easily get up to 3.3-3.5 ghz just on the stock cooler which will make it more appropriate for current games.

A 9600GT only needs about 6 amps. And the E5200, even overclocked, won't pull more than 7 or 8 amps at the most.

OTOH, a 22 amp 450 watt PSU is kind of weak. A good 450 watt PSU should be able to produce at least 30 amps on the 12 volt rail.

OTTH (on the third hand) the system works now. And if the PSU cannot handle the 9600GT, you can go back to the on-board graphics until you upgrade your PSU.
