Hello,
I have an Verbatim 1TB Portable Hard drive. When I plug it into my mac, the light on the hard drive goes on, but unusually, nothing is coming up on my desktop. When I look on the system Preferences, It tells me the my mac has recognised my hard drive. This is the same situation of PC'S. both recognise but give my access to the hard drive.
However, when ever I plug my Hard drive into my television to watch family videos and view photos as such, it access it. I really want to get as much of my files of as soon as possible on to my computer. It was working fine until recently when it just stopped working. Please help if you can, and try to keep it simple - my knowledge of technology is limited.
