hi everyone

i am planning to upgrade my pc to i7 2600k. when reading from difference review on mb, i am confused what mb will be best. i am not a gamer, proffesional user, I know nothing about sli/crossfire also overcloking. i want to use my pc for mathematical calculations(for that high-end pc is required), video, internet, normal Office multi tasking, and a little video/photo editing movies. which mb is better p67 or z68. But z68 mb attract me very much, esplly ASRock Z68 Pro3-M bcause on board parallel port. so, what mb should i choose Asus/Gigabyte/asrock/intel . Please comment on each product

Thanks for any responses

You should get a Z68 board. That way you can use the cpu's onboard gpu, and have the option to overclock. You should be able to do a light overclock with almost any motherboard with little effort. That will boost performance for cpu intensive work. I have been using an Asus motherboard with my 2500K and am happy with it. But a z68 board from any of the manufacturers you listed should work fine for you.
