Retrieving data

i have a computer with windows xp and i have 2 other hard drive that have vista on them, when i try and go into the vista hard drives they say that the hard drive needs to be formatted, they are samsung hard drives but i dont think there is anything wrong with them, is there anyway i can get the data off the 2 vista hard drives??

Hello, you may need a restore utility to get your data back.

Or even a few of them for the same job since different software on recovery varies. Be free to check the list of freeware for data recovery here
