Hello, I plan on building a new AMD rig thats descent for gaming and movies. Ive been doing quite a bit of research and I do plan on overclocking. I pretty much want a PC that will last me for the next couple years. I do plan on either crossfire or sli later on, but not as of now. So far I've got a couple of things on my list, but I need some opinions or recommendations. I am also trying to build this pc pretty much with the idea of "best bang for the buck".

X4 955 + Corsair 4GB

ASUS 890GX + ASUS HD 5770(Though not as powerful as the HD 4890, but is DirectX 11) - But if DirectX 11 doesnt matter, then get that HD 4890...

U mentioned best bang for buck then IMO ditch any ideas of CF/SLI Just Cause 2 and Metro 2033 just made decent GPUs of recent times look rubbish so buy and upgrade via a single GPU solution for gaming needs/requirement of tommorrow

$649AR

you might be able to save a little more with an AMD770 chipset, which sacrifies only SATA 3.0 (6GB) for SATA II (3GB), which doesn't matter for anything but a few solid state drives
