USES: Gaming (Starcraft 2, Stalker, Fallout 3, Diablo 3 at release), watching movies and surfing the web.

The questions I have are: What are some recommended CPU heatsinks and fans that will fit?, Will that GTX 460 fit in the case and motherboard? and lastly is the 750W PSU enough for this rig?

Please let me know if all the parts fit/work together and if I have created a bottleneck somewhere.

Also, I am using a monitor with 1680x1050 resolution

Thanks in advance.

How did u conclude your needs needed 2 x Xeon Nehalems :ouch: ?
  2. Basically, the story behind those 2 Nehalems is that I received them for free from a friend who scrapped an old server so I am trying to build a PC around them. That and I thought it might be fun to have a gaming PC with 2 CPU's.
  3. IMHO, I think you should re-consider your choice of HDD's. I think you should look into one of the WD black or the Samsung SpinRite drives, or get like a WD or Samsung Spinrite 500 GB drives for OS and primary applications and use 1TB for storage. The Samsung Spinrite 500 GB drive is very popular (and fast) and is only 55.00 or 56.00.

In either case, good luck with your build.
  4. Thanks Mikey for the tip on the HDD. I was looking around for a Samsung drive but wasn't sure of which model to get so a friend referred me to WD and I just chose the WD Green because it seemed like a pretty good deal. So in light of that I think i'll pick up a WD Black 500GB.
