i was planning to buy two 5670 (one for me and one for my bro) but the price of 5670 is around 100 usd.
i've searched newegg and tigerdirect.

i only want to use them around or below 75 usd.
so please suggest me for the other cards.

my monitor is samsung 1600*900. i'll play games on medium setting on 1440*900.

i see that
4670 ddr3 512 mb
gt220 ddr3 512 mb or
gt 240 ddr3 512mb (this one is aboue 75 usd)

cheaper is better for me. may be i can save around 50 bucks.

thaks to all pros

5670 is superior to the GT240 in games, it goes head to head with the 9800GT actually which is on a different level to the GT240 which is around the 9600GT.

GT240 is faster then the 4670 though I believe the price isn't justified, GDDR5 is about 20% faster I think and the GT240 GDDR3 is about 10% faster.

DDR3 4670 would be slightly faster then DDR2 4670's.

The GGDR5 GT240 is quite a bit better then the GGDR3 version I believe, GDDR5 is similar to the 9600GT and better then the 9600GSO while GT240 GDDR3 is between the 9600GT and 9600GSO I believe.

Personally I would get the 4670 DDR3, it's quite a bit cheaper then the GT240 DDR3 and only a bit slower, GDDR5 GT240 is miles ahead though. Or go all the way and grab a 5670, they're expensive but don't use too much power and offer decent gaming performance.

i'm now favouring 4670

so let me know 4670 ddr 3 512 mb and 1GB have much difference (my monitor is 1600*900) and 1440 *900 will be ok for me.

and will 4670 ddr3 512 will allow me to play the MW2 at medium setting with 2*aa or with no aa.

thanks

All the cards you are thinking about are bench-marked in this article except GT220 http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-5570,2552...
HD4670 is not powerful enough to gain from 1Gb of ram versus 512Mb. Turning on AA on a card in that performance range is going to hurt performance.

DDR3 card has faster memory therefore faster. Brand is more based on price and warranty quality is similar. For example XFX has dual lifetime warranty in North America.

More than 512mb of ram on the cards you are considering is pointless. Always go for the fastest ram available for the card you are looking at unless you really can't afford it. Looking on newegg I would get one of these cards depending on what you want to spend and your feelings about mail in rebates;

The HD5670 is really worth the extra money IMO.
