Is SanDisk Extreme Dependable

I am looking to build a new PC and I want to get an SSD with 240 to 256GB. NewEgg currently has the SanDisk extreme (240GB) on Sale for $170 (for one day only).

Is this a dependable drive? Should I be waiting for another brand to go on sale (It seems many people on this board like Samsung 830, Crucial, Intel, etc... and suggest against OCZ). I don't care if one drive is a bit faster then the other unless of course they are the exact same price.

I have been running the 120gb sandisk extreme for 6months and no dramas. Very happy with it. Here in Australia they sell for a good price and are often recommended.
