Hi,

I recently build a new pc with a GA-PA65-UD3-B3 motherboard, core i5 2500k, nvidua 8600gt and corsair 4gb ram. unfortunatly windows 7 shows 521MB of reserved bandwith in the resouce monitor. also the bios recognizes all 4gb of ram in the bios.

ps: i have updated the bios with the latest bios update.

anyone has any ideas about this problem?

Every OS reserves some amount of Memory for system resources. This is not a problem. But you can reduce the Memory for system resource from BIOS settings.

i agree with what you are saying but 521MB of memory is way too much i guess. my problem is that the OS is reserving 521 MB
