Does any one of you out there know about a good enough GPU for AGp 8x, and is above the GeForce 6800 Series or radeon 9800Pro? :lol:  It would have to be usable with my 250 W PSU, Cost under $70 and i would prefer a 512mb GPU. :) . It is no point in a very good GPU, because i have a Pentium 4 @ 2.00 GHz... Wich would just bottleneck :pfff:

What exactly is the brand and model of your PSU?
Almost all of your alternatives will not actually be much better than the 6800 series if at all. Perhaps finding a used Geforce 7000 series card on Ebay maybe but that's about it.
I know they recommend 400w but the recommendations are worst case scenarios built on pure speculation about the quality of your power supply and the nature of the rest of your system. They are rarely of much use. If you look up the HD4650* you'll see it only actually uses approximately 30 watts of power. So where did they get the 400w number from? They made it up entirely.

Alright, I've looked up your power supply and unfortunately it only has 10 amps on the +12v rail which is extremely poor even for a 250w PSU. Basically you need to replace it to use a real video card. I'm assuming you are using integrated graphics on the motherboard right now?

The Dell XPS 210 I hooked up to my Plasma has a 4650 and I believe the PSU is only 250W (not sure but I know it's less than 300W). If you're worried about the power though, you could go with a more miserly 3650

The HD3650 actually uses more power than the HD4650.
Currently Dell tends to use quality PSUs and under rates them but I guess this guys computer is from before that era because 10a on the +12v is simply terrible.

Yeah, according to this;

that card uses almost no power; just 10w more than onboard graphics.
