Zotac @ $545: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...

Asus @ $485: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...

The rest of my setup:
-Intel Core i7 930 @ 2.8GHz
-Gigabyte x58A-UD3R Motherboard
-6GB of G.Skill DDR3 Tri-Channel RAM @ 1600MHz w/6-8-6-20 Timings
-Corsair TX950 950W PSU
-Scythe Mugen 2 Rev.B CPU Cooler
-Western Digital 1TB SATA3 HDD @ 7200RPM w/64MB of Cache
-LG 24X SuperMulti LightScribe Drive
-CoolerMaster HAF 922 Case
-Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Zotac Price:$1842.76

Asus Price: $1782.76

I was wondering which GTX 480 I should purchase. The Zotac has a lifetime warranty (upon registration), and amazing cooling compared to the stock (nearly half the temps - http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2010/06/21/zo...), but is $60 more expensive, pretty significant for me.

I am also worried that although the Zotac will be cool itself, it might turn into a heater for the the rest of the system or my room. What do you guys think I should do?

Edit: Also, I'm aware of the Zotac's slightly higher clock speeds too, but I'm only really in it for the extra Zalman cooling as well as the quiet.

It is up to you to decide if the $60 is worth it for a lifetime warranty. I would choose the Asus since 2 years from now it is time to upgrade again.
