APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: 1-4 days probably

BUDGET RANGE:1200 before rebates +/- $100 dollars if it's really worth it one way or another

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming primarily, and then the usual, surfing and watching the occasional movie

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: monitor, speakers

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: NewEgg or anything really, whatever is cheapest and more reputable

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA

PARTS PREFERENCES: Intel i7 or i5. Was specifically looking at i7 930 and the i5 760. Was also looking at the gtx 460

OVERCLOCKING: yes/maybe. I've never overclocked before but I would like to try it.

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Yes, in the future. not now

MONITOR RESOLUTION: (e.g.: 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1440x900, 1600x1200, 1680x1050, 1920x1080, 1920x1200)

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: this will be my first build so I would like a setup that is friendly for beginners. primary concern is cooling system. prefer air over water just because I don't want to mess up an water system and ruin everything. But on the other hand, I'm open to ideas on all aspects, so feel free to try and convince me of whatever.
