I currently have

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

and was thinking about adding

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

due to the "promo".

Will it work? Voltages are different so I don't know.

Plus, I mostly play MMOs but I feel that if I wanna do something in the background while playing (burn a DVD for example) the performance drops significantly.

MB Asus 890gx + CPU X4 955 BE + GPU Asus HD5850 + PSU Antec 650W

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

You should be able to but you will have to loosen the timings to get them to play nice. Test the new sticks by themselves first to be sure that they run at their stated settings without problems.

I would stick with the same brand and voltage you have now. There is only $20.00 difference. I don't think you can change voltage for one pair without setting it for all your slots.

You can only have 1 voltage from my experience. Same goes for Timings. I would stick with two sets of dual channel that have the same timings and voltage.
