Screen flicker

Hi

I think i know the answer to this but i woukd like confirmation from you guys

Everytime i play WOW after a few mins the screen will start to flicker, ive turned the graphics down but it still flickers after a few mins.

Im using a 9600GT with a fairly old monitor. (Full specs in the "more info" link).

Is my monitor causng this? (which is what i believe is the problem), or is it the graphics card?

Any help would be much appreciated

If it is "old" as in CRT then you want to up the refresh rate to get rid of the flicker.

If you're not playing on a CRT, it may be a dying video card, but you'd also probably be seeing other symptoms too (reduced performance, crashing, other artifacts or weird effects).
