my computer do not detect any usb devices

First check in your BIOS that if you have enabled USB devices, then check if device manager shows the USB and if not then try putting USB Drive in other connections like you must be having multiple USB ports, because some times one of the ports could get faulty.

Also check the BIOS, Device manager, and windows update. When did this start happening (ie after inserting a USB device or when taking one out?).

You can also try inserting your Windows Disk, boot to the disk and then check the installation. Say yes to fix any problems.
