Hello guys,
I am currently using my on board sound, and I wish to take the load off my CPU and get either a Sound Blaster XtremeGamer X-Fi or X-Fi Titanium, but i'm not sure if my PSU can take it since I have a lot of stuff connected to it:
Specs:
ASUS M3N72-D 750a SLI
AMD Phenom II X4 920 2.8GHz (stock)
G.SKILL 4GB DDR2 800 (stock)
XFX RADEON HD 5770 1GB (stock)
Samsung Spingpoint F1 (1TB)
Maxtor 80GB (old non SATA HDD)
2 DVD-ROM drives.
I am also running 5 (3 are LED) 120mm and 1 140mm case fans on my Antec 300.
So just wondering if my PSU is enough to power another device, such as a soundcard. I don't wanna put stress on my PSU.
