Presently using WD3200BEKT 2.5in WD Black 320gb Now i need storage. So going to purchase WD10EZEX 3.5in WD Blue
Which is the better idea?
1) Clone WD3200BEKT to WD10EZEX using Acronis (AF supported)

or

2) Just plug WD10EZEX secondary for Storage.


Which will give good performance?

I will go to the option 2, Just plug WD10EZEX secondary for Storage. The WD3200BEKT's transfer rates is up to 3gb/s (300mb/s). The blue one is only up to 150mb/s.

The Blue has 600mb/s it is sata iii. But for mechanical drive that doesn't matter. I'm going to remove WD3200BEKT after cloning to WD10EZEX. I will use that as a usb 3 external drive.
