Hop on the bandwagon!

Make users wait 30 minutes downloading a map and 20 accessory files before
playing!

Wonder why a 28 player server not half filled needs a 20 square mile wide
map!

On the plus side, last night on ussr had rapid-fire weapons, and a few new
vehicles. One shot mortars(had 8 wheels, called a Paladin) and the other was
this tank-like vehicle.

Eh.

I download like 9 items, and I find I'm still playing the stupid Primeval
map.

Lovely, isn't it? This is one of the reasons I hardly play online
anymore.

Sounds like the new bonus pack to me.

Just download the ECE map pack from Atari's website, rather than leeching
it off of a game server at 1% of the speed.

I like the big maps - it makes getting out of position when someone
isolates a node a MUCH bigger problem.

These are the ECE vehicles. I like the SPMA - a rapid-deployment mortar,
even though I haven't quite figured out how to steer the altfire tv bomb
yet. *

Nah, you can't steer it, apart from careful aiming before you fire it.

The trick is to right-click stop it when it's directly over your target,
so you can start bombarding without wasting time getting the aiming
reticle in position.

I don't get why it has the tv feature then. Are you just supposed to use it
as an intelligence drone? It does work pretty well for that.

Oh - you use it for ranging shots? That's cool. *
