Concerning the XFX Radeon HD 5870

To anyone who currently owns an XFX Radeon HD 5870 or is experienced.
Some small questions below the initial comments.

I am planning on buying the XFX Radeon HD 5870 as a part of my intel core i5 750 gaming pc. However, looking on the newegg user reviews, I find mixed reviews about this video card. Oftentimes, a tearing or flickering is associated with the purchase of this card. I am a little uneasy and would like current owners of the HD 5870 to relay on some information to an inexperienced noob.

Would you be so kind as to post your experiences with the card?
Any problems regarding the tearing, flickering, or artifacts?
Any problems in general?
Recommendations of this card or other cards?
Any comments are appreciated.

Other: I don't plan on doing a crossfire setup and will likely stick to 1 HD 5870.

you should try a gtx470, its cheaper and better performing in half or more of the games and you save money

I have absolutely no problems with 5870. Its amazing and can run just about every game maxed out with 60+ fps. Its a great card and I highly recommend it. I have the Sapphire version, but the XFX is very similar. I have the same processor, and it performs very well too.

Each model of cards have their own problem, so if 1 of 100 person said this card is bad, do you still want it? :)
No matter what brand, ATI or NVIDIA, they have their own problem...
