Is it USB 3?

I have a laptop. In device manager i see

Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller
Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Root Hub

One of my usb ports has a USB sysmbol and a SS right next to it. Maybe it stands for Super Speed. But externally the port does not differ in collor and i cant notice any other differences to the other ports.

Is it a USB 3 Port?

That is likely a USB3 port, yes. You can contact the manufacturer of the laptop for confirmation.
