Hi all,
So basically I deleted a partion on my hard drive and it is now showing as 'Free Space' and is colored green. All I want to do is 'merge' it with my C drive, so it is just one partion, like it is when you first use the hard drive. or failing that at least make it a usable drive. Creating a shrink volume just gives an error saying 'not enough disk space. I cannot merge my C drive with the free space. Any ideas?

Regards.

If this partition is next to your C drive, you must delete it twice and then you could extend it in disk management.
Or I suggest a freeware AOMEI Partition Assistant home edition, easy to use.

dont merge the partition "resize" your free space and of same drive.
use minitools or anyother which you are comfortable with.
