External Keyboard/Mouse Conflict

First, have you installed all the IBM drivers?

Second, try a y-splitter on the mouse port with a ps/2 mouse.

Also go to

and click "detect my system"--an activex control will download and install
and then you may have to reboot and go back to that page. Once you've done
that and your system has been detected hit "downloads and drivers" and IBM
should tell you what you need.
