I'm purchasing a specific type of writer which does not have an external version. I've read a bunch of sites that say we could use a Sata-USB adapter. But I have a few concerns.
I've seen a lot of different adapters, some which are a cable only, others which have IDEE and an AC adapter.
Would I be able to use this?

Supports 2.5" SATA and I believe that includes power sufficient from the USB, correct?
This is the drive that I will be using.
