Hi,

I wonder when would this mainboard be released mainstream. If anyone has any first hand info i would greatly appreciate it. I have emailed Asus but got no reply. komplett advised me that they might stock the mainboard in about two months. Is this mainboard really two months late compared to Gigabyte where they have allready 3 mainboards out.

On the other hand what is the difference in between the two chipsets 990FX and 990X. I have found on some forum that the 990x supports a built in videocard but there was no refference to it.
Please advise

Thank You

I have seen the ASUS Crosshair V Formula available from Newegg for less than 48 hours as of now.

As Far as what are the differences between 990X and 990FX chipset, Check out AMD's info here http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/chipsets/9-serie...

The only significant difference that I noticed was the number of PCIe slots supported.
