Noisey heatsink on 890FX GD65

Is there anyway to slow this fan or is replacing it the only option? Because as of now...it basically sounds like it's under heavy stress constantly whether it's idle or doing anything.

i assume you mean cpu heatsink? just buy an aftermarket cpu cooler. I have a coolermaster hyper 212+ and it works very well.
Also check the settings on your fan to see if its on auto or set manually.

must disabled smart fan bios if want maximum stock cooling Rpm (very very noise ) .. agree get New Cooler after market

Yep...it was in fact the cpu fan and a replacement has worked wonders. Went from a jet propeller sound to inaudible over the sounds of my game at a reasonable volume.
