Is this a legit website to buy CPU's?

http://www.starmicroinc.net

doesn't look like too bad of a website, but the prices seem a bit surreal and i have never heard of it before

More about legit website
  1. more expensive than newegg.com why surreal?
  2. That front page the link shows us has a lot of out dated processors on it, that is why they're so cheap, a new $65 Athlon II X2 is better than anything I saw on that front page.
  3. Wow, they got socket 423 stuff. I mean WTF, who sells stuff like that except used on eBay? I see they got socket 939 CPUs but all single core stuff. Anyway............

Buy it new from newegg. I guess if you need a CPU for an older socket you could give that site a try.

Actually they do but I still wouldn't order !
  5. You'd be surprised how many companies will use a site like this to support legacy systems under 3rd party warranty.
  6. I wouldn't use it.so..

You can check whether the site is legit or not by doing Whois search.I usually do whois search with the help of WhoisXY.com where details like address, contact number etc will be provided. If you are satisfied with the site you can buy CPU's as you require.
