Backup/Sync over network?

Last response: in Networking

I have over 100GBs of Family pitchers/and videos So there are thousands individual files. I am trying to sync them between 3-4 computers. So i have multiple copy's and I can remove or add files from one any one of the computers and it will do the same automatically on the rest.

I would prefer to have the "brains" of this on one computer I am calling the "backup Server". That will turn on at a certain time and sync everything and then turn off. So as long as that computer isn't on nothing will be synced. This way I don't have to have a program running in the background on all of my other computers.

Does anyone have an idea how to accomplish this?

Take a look at Robocopy, this will let you copy only changed files. You will have to write some scripts, and either run it manually or find something to schedule it, but it's an option

Thanks for you for your help.
Worked for about 2 hours as my backup server, then the compute gave me the BSOD.
I guess that is what I get for using old beat up parts. :)
But the program worked. I just need to get the computer working again.
