GForce 6600 Inno3d ver 5.43 256mb agp

Hi,
I have a GForce 6600 Inno3d 256MB AGP ver 5.43 graphics card. I downloaded the drivers for this video card from the Nvidia site. After I installed the driver the computer reboots. Just before the desktop appears a blank black screen appears. The screen switches on and of and after a while reboots. This process repeats for a few times and after a while gives me a message " out of range " Could it be that I download the wrong driver or what could be the problem. If its the wrong driver. Where or what driver should I download.
Pls help?

If that is the one you got try going back to older drivers which you can pick from here http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us
