i have this exact ram
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145261&cm_re=corsair_xms3-_-20-145-261-_-Product
and i have msi 870a fuzion mobo with amd 770chipset
in the amd overdrive it says frequency is 667mhz but it should be 1600mhz right
my mob box says 1600mhz memory in overclock only but 1333mhz would be fine but right now its only 667mhz and since my win7 home premium 64bit can use 6gb out of the 8gb for some reason i really need the memory speed
i know nothing about OC ing memory so what would i change
i put the pic on photobucket and put the link here

you might want to download to be able to see the numbers

Your board probably reads 1600 as 800, so 667 is actually 1333. I overclock by reducing the ram speed a notch before increasing the cpu speed so the resulting ram speed is what it's rated at. For 1600 ram, I set it to 667 and my amd cpu from 200 to 240 so the net ram speed is 800 (1600). I'm not going to try to explain it, just know it works on many boards.
