My Toshiba Satellite Pro had been having "irregular"start ups. It would boot up normally boot programs and folders weren't acessible. When I clicked on them nothing happened and even trying to restart the system caused it to freeze up. I figured i'd do a restore n hopefully rectify these problems. When I got to the black screen w/orange words and it asked me was I sure I wanted to proceed I typed y for yes. Then it askd if I had backed up the system first..I hadn't so I pressed esc to cancel. But when it rebooted, this appeared on the screen"

pxe-e61: media test failure,check cable
Pxe-m0f: exiting pxe rom
No bootable device--insert boot disk and press any key

I'd like to restore it back to a working state w/files intact at least til I can back them up,but if not then just restore it to the factory default

Someone plz help!! Thanx in advance
