Hello~
I built my system a few months back, everything went well and nothing went wrong with the system. I have 6 gbs of ddr3 ram installed on my motherboard, however windows 7 only shows 4 gb of ram. Not sure if this is because of ram sticks is bad or not. Has anyone had a similar issue?

Solution
1)go to the BIOS and enable Memory Remapping
2)If that didn't work,go to msconfig>boot>Advanced options and make sure the "Maximum Memory" is unchecked

Are you running Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit? The 32 bit version does not support more than 4GB of memory due to 32 bit memory addressing constraints. The 64 bit versions support between 16GB and 192GB (64 bit Home Premium = 16GB).
