Cant get a cpu temperature signal

So i was trying to see what my cpu temperature was at because im going to hook up water cooling system and do some over clocking. but nothing will work. i have downloaded so many programs to see what my temps are but all of them either say 0 or something wierd like -128 degreese. whats up with this?



Motherboard
- MSI 870A-G54 AMD 870 Socket AM3

Processor - AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0Ghz 6MB AM3 - OC to 3.4 ghz

Graphics Card - XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB PCIe DDR5 Display - stock clock

Ram - Corsair XMS3 4GB PC10666 DDR3 Dual Channel 1333MHz - stock clock 9-9-9-24

Hard Drive - Hitachi 250GB Serial ATA HD 7200/8MB/SATA-3G

Optical Drive - Lite ON 24X DVDRW SATA OEM

Power Supply - Ultra LSP550 550w Power Supply

OS - windows 7 x64 bit

Please try the motherboard sensor first - Hardware monitor or PC Health this should work before the software if not then something wrong with your motherboard. But you mentioned above "128 degrees.." maybe that's in Fahrenheit. . .

when i go through the bios i get a reading.. around 28 to 30 degreese.. .its not in fahrenheit because it will iether stick at - ( negitive) 128 or - 256.. which is wierd.
