can i put a Intel Core i7-2600K Processor on a IPIBL-LB (Benicia)/Benicia-GL8E

No as the board is a socket 775, only C2D and C2Q, last time I checked intel didn't like backwards compatibility, especially with products that have a generation of hardware separating them, sorry dude

It would be best to ask the manufacturer of your PC (ASUS), usually motherboards have a CPU support list but because this motherboard was created for an e-machine it's a little more complicated
