Hi Everyone,
I got these errors on my System Logs "The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk1\DR1."
Does this error means my HDD is dying or mother board is failing?

Will someone please help me identify this problem?
Thanks so much guys :)

Some sectors may be damaged.

Thank you for your answer, I switched it to different port and it seems to be working now.

It means your second disk has error. That could be removable USB.

The OP was referring to an external hard drive, and he/she fixed the problem by plugging that drive into a different USB port.

If you are having a similar problem but it's with an internal hard drive, that solution obviously does not apply to your situation. Please start your own thread if you want help, do not hijack someone else's thread.
