XFX Radeon 5770

i upgrade my graphic card from ati 4670 to xfx radeon 5770 ZNFC but i think it failed to perform as i hope. I could play FIFA 10 at maximum settings with my previous card and with the new one its not smooth enough to play. i have downloaded the driver from the home page. can anybody tell me why is this.

That's strange, both 4670 and 5770 should be able to max out FIFA.
What are your other system specs and also how is your performance in other games ?

CPU? PSU? RAM? Motherboard?

INTEL CORE 2 DUO E4600, COOLER MASTER EXTREME POWER 500W, 2X2GB DDR2, P5QL-CM. 1 TB samsung.
I can max out at avatar and modern warfare 2. but fail to perform in fifa 10 and sims 3.

Can you explain it more? i mean is your FPS low in those games ? or you have stutters or freezes ? and is v-sync on ?

wait, you can maxed out avatar and MW2 but no with fifa 10 and the sims3?
Surely you got a problem with the game itself...
Try re-install the game...

and also i use xfx 8600gt xxx edition before and i could not delete the nvidia driver from my computer. can anybody tell me why and how to delete it. Even from the remove programe, and when i double click it nothing happened nad with the right click and uninstall also nothing happened. Am using windows 7 ultimate 32bit.

Download and install driver sweeper and go to safe mode, open it and click on "Nvidia" and then click "clean", then go and check if it lets you uninstall it from the control panel or not.
If it didn't help,reinstall the windows

I guess this is a bit of an old thread, but if anyone is still here, I'm having the same problem. I've got a single 5770 which can max out Dirt 2 at 1080p but i get really low, choppy frames in sims 3 (even in low details)?? Uninstalling doesn't do anything, and I've swept my drivers already. Anyone know why? Would this just be a super poorly coded game?

Specs are ... Phenom II x4 955 BE @ 3.2Ghz, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 620W Antec PSU, MSI 890FXA-GD70 MOBO, WD 500GB HDD.
