More about good build gaming
  1. But for the game i want to run massive of, 8gb is what i need.

How much difference will the graphic card make on the laginess of my computer and how many of a certain game i can possibly run?

    ty
  2. ^ Which game are you talking about??
Even the most graphic intensive games dont utilize anything above 4GB fully...
But a faster graphics card, can make a lot of difference...
  3. ^agreed

If you plan to upgrade anything in the future you may want to get a larger PSU. This on is a good deal right now

Also don't forget the OS if you don't already have it

  4. im talking about diablo 2, i want to be able to run 130+ copies of it.

i really dont understand any computer components so is it possible for you guys to kind of put it in basic language for me? like wut graphic card does and stuff like that because i thought the main things that control how much things i can run is ram and the core
  5. ^ 130+ copies ?? Well then maybe 8GB is fine...

And as for the components, the graphics card is the one that processes most of the visual aspect of the game. So if you want to run the game nice and smooth, then you would need a powerful card...

Okay, so can you tell me exactly what i need to buy then to be able to do what i want to do? (my bro can set it up for me, but hes not sure about the devices to get).

My main goal is to have a super fast comp that can run massive amounts of diablo 2 and other things that will take up mem and cpu etc.
  7. ^ Well if you will be playing mainly Diablo II, then you can drop the graphic cards to maybe GTS 250...

And rest get the ones that I had picked...
  8. well i want to be able to play cs and sc2 smoothly as well, but it just mainly for running mass diablo 2 and clientless diablo 2 stuff.

u gave me different options for many of the stuff? im confused lol

    what should i get :P

    Edit

im going to bed now as its almost 5 am here, but can u please just make a post of all the links of the stuff i need to buy and maybe an explanation of each and why i need that? I know its kind of spoonfeeding but im really terrible with comps and i dont understand it at all.

Btw, have u played diablo ii before?

Ill talk to ya tomorrow, what time will you be on btw, east wise

    TY
  9. so which psu should i get and which graphics card?

also, what about the wiring and stuff, dont i need that to build a comp?

My brother is building it for me, but idk lol. what about the cd drives and stuff
  10. newegg.ca links are soo bad, it always goes right to home..
  11. yea lol, u have to quote there message so u can see the actual link
  12. ^ Or just right click and open in new tab...
And PSU - Get the one that is cheaper out of those 2 and as for the graphics card, Gigabyte...
  13. ^ Yes,...It has additonal 1 year warranty and IMO Gigabyte is slightly better...
