I just got a 24inch asus monitor 2 days ago and i watched some 1080p video on youtube and they don't look that gorgeous and they look somewhat pixeled a bit ( really not that much just enough to ask this question though ). My current Graphic Card is 8800gt and I was wondering is this because of the card or i'm just crazy. ( If you wonder what my connection speed is it's 30mb/s ). My resolution is already at the maximum which is 1920x1024 and I got windows 7.

BTW i'm getting a HD 5850 tomorow and I would like to know if I will see any improvement in the quality of the videos.

Thank you and sorry for my poor english.

No , I don't think your 2d video will be any better.
You can set your settings on your tube account to play HD if available. That will help some.
