Hi everybody,

I am just about finished researching all the parts I need for the new computer I am building but I like to have some 2nd opinions and suggestions on the build. The general use of the computer will be for graphic design (adobe products, QuarkXpress ie) and some gaming on the side.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: One to two months

BUDGET RANGE: 1000 dollars

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Graphic design, video editing, gaming, movies, internet, word documents

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Video card, sound card, hard drive, dvd rom drive, case, power supply (Corsair VX-550), Operating system, speakers and monitors.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.ca , ncix.com and tigerdirect.ca

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Canada

PARTS PREFERENCES: No real preference

OVERCLOCKING: Yes

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe, may have crossfire in the future.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1680x1050 (I have two monitors at this resolution)

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: The computer will generally be used for graphic design in both the web and print fields. Sometimes will use sound and video editing software for school.
