I am having trouble with my hp tx2000, in the sys tray of windows 7 I am getting no audio device installed, I have tried xp, vista, 7 and even linux. And none of them are seeing the sound card. I have no sound properties in the device manager either.

I am starting to think its a hardware problem and not driver related. As far as I can tell from using everest it shows the south bridge as being an nVIDIA nForce 430 (MCP51) - High Definition Audio Controller

Any help would greatly be appriciated, I failing getting this to work I am going to solder a small usb soundcard inside, but I would rather, fix this right.
