Advice/Critique for my new build

Hey guys, I've put together what I think is a solid buy for a 900-1000$ Gaming PC. I'm interested in purchasing as soon as possible and I think I've narrowed down what I want. There are a few questions however that I still have. I am hoping that I can receive responses that will help me build a quality for a good price. (Please post any Combo Deals, discounts, etc. you might discover).

Grand Total: $975.60

Questions:

1. What's the ideal number of watts I need for the build I have? (The one shown is 700W, but I'm always looking to save money)
2. Are my disk drive and hard drive too expensive?

3.

  1. go with an ATi graphics card, AMD and Nvidia don't go well together. Get something like a 5770/5830 <600w is good for those
