Sharp Actius PC-A280 Wirless Network Card Problems

I just got my A280 laptop back up and running, and decided to use it as a
simple internet / e-mail computer with my wireless network.

I am having lots of issues trying to get a wireless PCMCIA card to work in
this thing. I have tried the Trendware TEW-421PC and a 3Com 11G card. I
could not get either of them to work properly. They would sometimes hang up
the computer, and whenever I would try to install the driver it always came
up and said that the device could not be started error code (10). I also
tried disabling the onboard network, and still no sucess.

I am currently using the exact trendware card in my Thinkpad T-20, and it
works great. I also have a PCI version of the trendware card in another PC.
I use the 3Com at work and it also works great.

Anyone have any type of wireless network card working in this Sharp A280
model laptop? I am running out of ideas except to go to my local Compusa
and buy every model card they have and hope at least one works and then
return the rest. (Lots of open box fees though!)
