M2A-VM is detect what device

Hi, I have an old motherboard M2A-VM HDMI. I want to upgrade CPU Phenom II x2 555 Black Edition and Video card ATI Radeon HD 5770. Is my motherboard detect or support all? Please I need some advice. Thank you

This is a direct quote from the Asus Forum :

M2A-VM BIOS 5001
1. Beta Bios for Supporting AM3 CPUs.
2. System still able to POST when set CPU Multiplier to 35X, but actual frequency will not change.
3. Due to chipset limitation, Max HT Link is 1000MHz only.
4. It will no display if downgrade Bios to lower version.

Try to go thru this before you end up buying anything....

As your advice, I think I may go upgrade motherboard AM3 in this case.
