Hello Everybody !!

I have a question for you;
I have a Patriot Dual Memory Kit, PV234G1600LLK, 2x2GB DDR3 1600MHz with 7-7-7-20 XMP Enabled, 1.9v
DDR3%20Viper%20II_300px.jpg

(http://patriotmemory.com/products/detailp.jsp?prodline=5&catid=34&prodgroupid=197&id=840&type=1)
I want to upgrade my Memory, to another pair (for a 2x4GB setup) , but this memory kit is no longer available - out of stock, so I've searched for another Memory kit's with the same setup of 7-7-7-20 and I didn't find much, expect from the Mushkin 996657 that is also out of production, and the Patriot PGS34G1600LLKA (also 7-7-7-20) that is available but it's very expansive.
*BTW: I reside outside the USA.
I have found Memory kits with similar setup (7-8-7-20), The Corsair CMX4GX3M2A1600C7 and the Mushkin 996679.
So my question for you is, Will it be OK to combine my pair (7-7-7-20) with the other pair with the 7-8-7-20 setup, or it's to risky, and I need only the exact setup for a safe and error free system run ?

Thanks for the help,
because I really need it.

You never -ever- want to mix RAM.

RAM placed system should be bought together, in the same package. The manufacturers sync them up to work better together - so your best bet is to sell what you have and buy a package of two sticks of 4GB.

You -can- mix RAM, but you never want to. You're just degrading your machine's performance.
