I put once a code its not good i cant put a right password again on my internet

i have a laptop with wireless internet so i clicked on one and i put in any password after that it says limited acsess now my freind gave me the correct password and i want to put in the password the window to put in the password does not pop up

If you have XP, click th e wireles sicon and then click on View Wireless networks. In the left han dpane, click Change the Order of Preferred Networks and then select yours and click on Properties. Change the wrong key - shown as a string of asterisks - to the right one and click OK. Leave it alone for a few moments and it should connect itself but if it doesn't, go back into the Properties, click the Connection tab and tick to connect automatically then OK your way out again.
