Last night I ran into a problem with Media Player. I dabble in video editing as a hobby, mostly AVCHD format (m2ts). Well last night media player wouldn't play any avchd videos although I had sound I had no video. The strange thing is that when I open the files already saved on my computer they played fine. But the ones I was trying to download on my pc had sound but no video. The thumbnails in windows explorer were generic and wouldn't show the clip. I did a system restore and it seemed to help playback but thumbnails still are generic.

Any help would be great

Thanks,
Joey

One thing I forgot to mention in the post was that I also have a Toshiba laptop and I could put the videos on it and everything worked great. Hope this helps in find a solution.

Thanks again,
