Hello,
I've got a IC780M-A and I was thinking of getting a SSD that is Sata III for it. While my mobo is Sata compatible, I know its pretty outdated. I just want to make sure that the mobo will be able to handle this SSD (while I realize maybe not a max speed) until I upgrade at the end of the year. Thank you for your time.

Yea dont worry it will work just fine since it is backwards compatible with SATA I and SATA II. You most likely won't see a performance loss either since your board does have SATA II. Based on reviews of SATA III, you would really have to have a super-fast (and super expensive) SSD to take good advantage of SATA III (6G).
