Graphic Design Machine - what card?

Hi, I'm planning on upgrading my current set up. I don't play any games but here are my uses:

- I'm a graphic designer so constantly pushing Adobe CS
- Currently getting into 3D design (probably 3D Studio Max and I also use Adobe After Effects)
- I want to edit HD video MTS files and render them
- I also produce music using demanding software synths like Spectrasonics Omnisphere

I'm thinking of going for this bundle so far..

Intel Core i7 920 D0 2.66GHz @ 4.00GHz

Thermaltake VA3000BNA < my current case which I think I'll keep

So basically, I don't really know anything about graphics cards etc. I don't want to pay extra for a gaming card if I'll never get the benefit..or maybe there are cards specifically for vector / 3D design and handling AVCHD video ??

Also, what power supply should I need? (currently only 450W)

You can get benefit from Nvidia cards with CUDA acceleration.
But, most of your work are CPU demanding, and you already choose the right CPU (4.0GHz is great).
