Unable to connect iphone to pc the error is

i have tryed connecting my iphone 4 to my pc but i am unable to do so the error which is coming is Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) i have tryed solving it .I tryed Open the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by clicking the Start, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting. Under Hardware and Sound, click Configure a device.‌ If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation and i also tried to re-install iTunes but its still not working plz hlep me

Unfortunate, but code 43 is a generic catch all, indicating there is something wrong with the hardware, and to refer to the hardware's manual.
