CPU and 1866mhz memory

I bought 1866mhz memory but I'll be using a Sempron 140 until Bulldozer is released, question is since the Sempron only supports 1333Mhz will I have to go into the BIOS and lower the memory speeds or will it happen automatically when I startup the system?

It will only be set to 1066 or 1333 automatically, so you won't have a problem.
